This is a cast of the juvenile Eichstatt Specimen of the Jurassic fossil bird Archaeopteryx lithographica, on a slab MEASURING: 9 inches tall, by 11 inches wide. It was cast in Hydro-Stone and painted to resemble the real fossil. It was discovered near Workerszell, Germany in 1951. This specimen is a juvenile 2/3rd the size of the adult bird.
